What We Do

Signum Ops produces books and other media, particularly for the 'Print On Demand' or POD markets, as well as the emerging eBook media marketplace. We have the pleasure of representing a number of accomplished professionals who have a story to tell as a result of many years in their respective fields.

While we have produced an array of titles dealing with treasure, salvage, and shipwrecks, we also have produced children's books, archaeological monographs, software and software documentation, poetry, novels, policy manuals, dive travelogues, and military history books.

We are always on the lookout for individuals who have books ready to publish and nowhere to publish them. We are equally interested in producing good books by researchers, and have introduced several books into the English market by authors from Spain and the Dominican Republic. If you are an author and English is your second language, Signum Ops might be able to help you get your material into the English reader's market. You just need good material and sound presentation.

Publishing anything, whether it's film, music, books, art, or what have you, is always a gamble. Signum Ops gambles with you. You create the material and we produce it for the public. Unlike vanity publishing, there is no cost to you. We work on a split of the sales and help you get your book into the market. We also do works for hire.

Routinely, Signum Ops does the layout, cover, indexing, certain illustration work, copyright filing, proofing and editing of any ventured title. Copyright stays with the author, and authors may withdraw their work from the market at their discretion. Volumes produced by Signum Ops are imprinted with the Signum Ops logo and sold as works produced by Signum Ops. Authors are free to market their Signum Ops products on their own but may not undercut the Signum Ops MSRP. Authors can obtain copies of their work at the Signum Ops production price whenever they like.
